Training Institutes:

Dr. Bernie Hanna attended Howard University where he became a doctor of medicine in general surgery. Following the completion of his medical training, Dr. Hanna worked as a trauma surgeon, an assistant clinical professor, and medical researcher. After several years of trauma surgery, Dr. Hanna shifted his focus to minimally invasive bariatric surgery.

Work Experience:

Dr. Bernie Hanna has been practicing surgery in the Las Vegas valley for over 20 years. In 2003, he founded Las Vegas Bariatrics, offering obesity treatment options to patients struggling with their weight. Dr. Hanna is also the Medical Director for North Vista Hospital, Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, and Dignity San Martin Hospital.
