Dr. Morgan Pomeranz is a board-certified surgeon at Las Vegas Bariatrics, fellowship-trained in advanced, minimally invasive foregut and bariatric surgery. Having performed hundreds of bariatric procedures, Dr. Pomeranz is known for his dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes, employing cutting-edge surgical techniques to enhance patient safety and success.

Surgical and Clinical Expertise:
General surgery, advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, endoscopy, anti-reflux, hernia/abdominal wall, and bariatric surgery procedures to include the gastric bypass, vertical sleeve gastrectomy, and duodenal switch.
Bariatric Procedures Performed:
Laparoscopic roux-en-y gastric bypass, laparoscopic vertical sleeve gastrectomy (gastric sleeve), duodenal switch, gastric balloon, gastric band, revisions and conversions of previous bariatric procedures, and robotic bariatric surgery.
Credentials:
Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and American College of Surgeons, Focused Practice Designation in metabolic and bariatric surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and trained on the Intuitive Surgical Da Vinci System.
Training Institutes:
Dr. Morgan Pomeranz received his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University. He then continued his education at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine where he obtained his medical degree. He completed a general surgery residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Sunrise Health GME Consortium.
Work Experience:
Following the completion of his residency program, Dr. Pomeranz continued his training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) where he became fellowship trained in minimally Invasive, robotic, and bariatric surgery. In August of 2020, he relocated to Nevada to join the team of surgeons at Las Vegas Bariatrics.
Outside of the Operating Room:
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, playing a round of golf, cycling, and cooking.
