Dr. Sachin Vaikunth began his academic journey at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where he earned his undergraduate degree in political science. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine with honors from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, followed by fellowship training in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center—one of the leading programs in the country for advanced surgical education.

Dr. Vaikunth currently practices as part of BayCare Medical Group and serves the communities of New Port Richey and Trinity, Florida. He is affiliated with Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, where he provides advanced surgical services to patients across the region.
