Board Certified by the American Board of Surgeons, fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and active member of the American Society of Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery.

Training Institutes:

Dr. Scott Perryman received his undergraduate degree from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, and then later went on to achieve his medical degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. After graduation from medical school, Dr. Perryman joined the general surgery residency program at Stanford University, followed by a 2-year post-doctoral research fellowship. It wasn’t until a few years later that Dr. Perryman went back to Stanford in 2009 to complete an Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship.

Work Experience:

After graduating from his surgical training in 2010, Dr. Scott Perryman joined the team at Prima Medical Group, where he practiced as a general surgeon at Sonoma Valley Hospital. In 2018, Dr. Perryman started Whole Health Weight Loss Institute. He currently serves as the Vice President and CEO of Whole Health Weight Loss Institute, as well as the Medical Director of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery at Sonoma Valley Hospital and Queen of the Valley Hospital.
